AMBER CAPITAL OF THE WORLD - for National Geographic

Ninety percent of the world’s supply of precious gemstone amber comes from Kaliningrad, Russia. During his World Cup tour of Russia, National Geographic reporter Sergey Gordeev visits the city’s amber museum and visits a jeweler to see the gemstone fashioned into a custom piece of World Cup-themed jewelry.

ABOUT THE SERIES: In the summer of 2018, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC partnered with FOX Sports to cover the world’s most watched single-sport tournament: the FIFA World Cup.
