What happened to American brains? A special report by Sergey Gordeev, "Anatomy of the Day," NTV (in Russian)

December 3, 2014

On Dec 3, 2014 University of Texas at Austin released startling news: 100 brains disappeared from its unique collection of organs, which was assembled since the 1950s and included the brain of Charles Whitman (the "Texas sniper" was responsible in 1966 for one of the deadliest campus shootings in the U.S. history). On the same day, other brain-related breaking news came from Harvard: several dozen valuable brains were lost to science after a freezer malfunction. What happened to the American brains? Watch my report on "Anatomy of the Day" - which aired live in Russia on NTV. Original air date in the U.S.: Wednesday, December 3, 2014 on NTV America.
