She currently stars as Konchakovna in The Metropolitan Opera production of Prince Igor and is known for her fiery rendition of Carmen on some of the world's most celebrated stages - La Scala, The Met, The Royal Opera House. We talk about her life, her career, how much work and discipline it takes to succeed - but we begin and end with love - which, according to Anita, is what makes life worth living.
